Alpine Bank
Being a new bank in town we wanted to focus on the connection between Alpine Bank and the Durango community. What better way than to place art from an artist native to Durango. A perfect match was made. Stephen Day's work helped make that connection, as well as, embrace the strong company identity of Alpine Bank. The medium is oil and the content is of rich landscapes reminiscent of the area. Aspens, mountains and a sunset of the western sky enhance the environment and make it feel tailor made of the people of Durango.

Baylor All Saints Andrews Women's Hospital
From the minute a patient enters the Andrews Women's Hospital, they know that they have entered a new world in women's health care. The nearly 190,000 square feet facility offers traditional maternity services, a level III neonatal intensive care unit and a wide range of advanced, interdisciplinary women's care, with the mission to care for women, for life.
As a result of the direct response of focus groups, the hospital is designed with amenities and enhancements that are important to women, what they really want and need. Reaching beyond the ordinary to create a soothing and healing environment for women, and recognizing the value of art in healing, an eclectic blend of works and mediums were gathered.

Frauenshuh Companies
This 155,000 square foot medical office building contains many large corridors with specific alcoves for the display of art, as well as dedicated art walls. This collection consists of 30 pieces. The company, which is headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, was open to a more bold and sophisticated look. Here we focussed on color and textures that went well with specific spaces yet provided a colorful contrast to the architectural formality. The artwork provides delightful surprises in every public part of the building.

Medical Office Building
This building houses medical practices, clinical providers and facilities and also administrative offices for the adjoining hospital. We chose to create a sophisticated collection that would be at home as easily in New York as LA. Instead of focussing on a wide variety of people's interests, we went with a stronger, stylistic approach, giving attention more to individual artists instead of themes. We put together a collection that was very different, yet with a beautiful range of colors and textures that work well together.

Mercy Regional Medical Center
After 124 years of service to the communities of southwestern Colorado, the Mercy Medical Center has just completed construction of its dream facility. The 210,000 square foot hospital was conceived as a "healing" environment.
Unlike typical harsh institutions of the past, the new Mercy is designed with a soft, nurturing touch, from the 82 private rooms, appointed as if they were hotel suites complete with wood cabinetry, flat screen televisions and comfortable seating for family members, to the patient wings where sound is muted by carpeting and low ceilings. Hallway lighting is soft and the ambiance serves both the patients and the staff.
A major part of the character of this center comes from the almost 700 pieces of art and sculpture that adorn the site.

Saint Francis Medical Center
Saint Francis Medical Center has been devoted to compassionate healing for 120 years. Their new nine-story, 163-bed patient tower will continue their mission and extend the reach of their core values of reverence, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
The purpose of the new tower is to create a larger, more functional environment, with private, family-friendly rooms. With a focus on community, an environment was created to highlight different aspects that make up the rich culture of Nebraska. The artwork features warm colors and textures that call to mind the spirit of Nebraska's central plains.

Southwest Colorado Mental Health Center
This is a small facility that will fulfill a large community role. Working with their specific needs, we created themes in landscapes that are inspiring, hopeful and soothing. The floral pieces used in the hallways provide a nice break between the landscapes. The feeling is airy and light. Nothing heavy or overwhelming.

Wells Fargo Bank
Wells Fargo Bank already owned a formidable collection of Navajo weavings which they intended to use in their new Durango facility. After evaluating the collection, we developed a master plan for the most aesthetically pleasing placement in both public and private areas. We arranged for the cleaning of the weavings, chose appropriate security hangers and oversaw the installation. The final touch was to add the signage which tells the story of each piece.
